Never Give Up is one of Shane’s favorite sayings; it reminds him of the dogged resolve of Winston Churchill leading up to World War II or his own voice when he faces something difficult—like a scary life circumstance or a challenging run.
Never give up! Never give in! Don't quit! Keep going! You got this!
Never Gonna Give You Up is Bonnie’s favorite song; she loves this often memed, upbeat anthem. This song of unwavering commitment and devotion was written by a man to his one and only love; in it, he vows never to leave her or let her down, complete with 80’s synth vibes.
🎶 "Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and hurt you.”
This piece of Art combines the powerful sentiment and sincerity of never giving up with the quirky hit that eventually Rickrolled us all. It's a punny combination of two of our favorite sentiments—together these thoughts help us live a life of gritty determination to love one another. To be doggedly committed and true.
A Reclaimed Soundboard from an antique piano was our canvas for this one-of-a-kind painting. Soundboards have a beautifully distinct design, and they served a unique purpose when the instrument was still intact. The beautifully light spruce wood’s job was to amplify the sound of the instrument, making every sound louder so it could be heard by more people at greater distances. Now, it has been repurposed to share this message of love.
We Made The Original Heartwork using decoupage lettering, a large, subtle heart shape, and acrylic paint. Several layers of paint and medium were built up to add texture and depth to the panel.
