Natural Stone Marble Sidings
Bring the purity and beauty of nature into your home with Marble Siding. Offered in various colors and surface finishes, marble siding will add elegance to your decor with its brilliance. These entirely natural products come in different colors due to the unique minerals and elements in the regions they are extracted from, making each piece as unique as a work of art. Marble has a denser structure compared to other natural stones, resulting in a lower water absorption rate. This characteristic makes it very suitable for use in wet areas like bathrooms and in outdoor spaces. Like all natural stones, marble can be used for many years without wear when properly maintained. Marble natural stones come in a wide variety of colors and unique patterns. Recently, the popular trend is to use large slabs to create reflective effects, adding depth to your walls. Light-transmitting marble types represent the pinnacle of elegance. Before installation, LED lighting is applied to the area. Then the light-transmitting marble is placed, creating a unique decorative feature both day and night.
Marble is extracted from nature in blocks and then sized according to the required dimensions. Afterward, the preferred surface finish is applied. These prepared marble pieces are arranged by hand onto mesh backing, with each piece glued individually to form the desired pattern, then left to dry. Once dry, the mosaic or natural stone ledger panels are packaged. Being mesh-mounted, they can be easily applied to curved and corner surfaces as well.
Surface Finishes:
- Splitface: A guillotine-type machine applies pressure to the middle of the stone. The pressure splits the stone into two pieces, one side flat and the other side rough and textured. This process is known as splitface.
- Honed: A semi-matte finish is achieved by gently sanding the stone’s surface with machines equipped with special abrasive parts.
- Patinato: An aged surface appearance is achieved by treating the stone surface with machines equipped with special abrasive brushes.
- Filled: The holes and pores on the stone surface are filled with a special filling material.
- Tumbled: The process of rotating the stone in a drum to give the surface and edges an aged appearance.
