The Raptor 9.5ft with propeller drive gives you everything the fin drive does — modular two-section design, fits in a hatchback boot, stores in an apartment — plus instant reverse. Back away from dock pilings, fight current, and maneuver around structure without ever lifting a paddle.
Instant reverse on demand. The propeller drive system gives you full forward and reverse control with your feet, keeping your hands free to cast, net, or handle fish. If you fish near docks, bridges, or in tidal current, the prop drive is the right call.
Same modular convenience. Two sections. Each under 35lbs. Fits in the boot of a hatchback, SUV, or pickup bed — no roof rack, no foam pads, no tie-downs. Stands upright in an apartment hallway, spare room, or balcony. Customers have fit it in a Honda Odyssey, Toyota RAV4, and Ford Edge.
Ready to fish in 5 minutes. Clip the front and rear sections together, drop in the prop drive unit, and launch. No inflation, no pumping, no waiting. 380lb weight capacity handles you, your gear, and your catch.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the advantage of propeller drive over fin drive?
Propeller drive gives you instant reverse — you can back up without lifting a paddle. This is especially useful near docks, in current, and when maneuvering around structure. Fin drive is quieter and better in very shallow water. If you're unsure, think about where you fish most: current and structure = prop drive; shallow flats and stealth = fin drive.
Will it fit in my car without a roof rack?
Yes. The two sections fit in the boot of most mid-size cars and SUVs — including the Honda Odyssey, Toyota RAV4, and Ford Edge — without roof racks or external straps.
Can I store it in my apartment?
Yes. Each section fits through a standard doorway and stands upright against a wall. No wall brackets or ceiling hoists required.
How long does assembly take?
About 5 minutes. The sections click together with the modular clip system — no tools needed.
Is the hull as durable as a one-piece kayak?
Yes. The sections are single-piece rotomolded polyethylene — the same material and manufacturing process used in traditional rigid kayaks. The modular clips lock the sections together securely without compromising hull integrity.
