BEAR OUTDOOR WATER FOUNTAIN
Two Bears, Three Pots, and a Blue Light After Dark
The thing to know before anything else is the color of the light. The LEDs sit inside the pots and they are cool blue, not warm. After dark the water in each pot reads like moonlight on a stream rather than firelight in a cabin window. Some people love that. Some people expected a warm amber glow and are disappointed. Now you know which one you are.
By daylight it is a woodland scene. One black bear leans over the top of a weathered tree trunk while a second sits below, and water travels from the upper bowl through three dark glazed pots. The bears have tan muzzles and there is a green moss cast along the trunk, so the whole thing has more color in it than the photos suggest.
At 23.6 inches high and 13 pounds, it belongs beside a porch step, at a bend in a garden path, in a gravel bed, or at the edge of a cabin style patio. It is small enough to lift with one arm and light enough that a running dog can knock it over, so keep it off the main route through the yard.
What Makes This Fountain Different
- It is a scene, not an ornament. Most garden fountains are a shape with water on it. This one has two animals doing something, and that changes how people react to it. Guests stop and look at the bears rather than glancing at the water and moving on. Children find it before the adults do. If you have a cabin, a woodland border, a gravel bed under trees, or a yard where the planting is loose and natural, it belongs. In a formal courtyard or a clean modern patio it will look like it wandered in from a different house, and no amount of good placement fixes that.
- Cool blue light in the pots. The LEDs are in the water path, so what lights up at night is the moving water in each pot, not the bears. Blue rather than amber. Worth walking out after dark and picturing it before you commit to a spot.
- Small drops, close sound. Water moves from the upper bowl through three pots in short falls, which gives a light trickle you hear from a chair beside it and lose across the yard. This is a fountain to sit next to, not one that fills a garden with sound.
- 13 pounds, one arm. Resin, so you carry it out of the box, set it where you want, and move it again in October when you decide the other corner was better. The same lightness is why it needs to sit somewhere a dog will not clip it.
A light trickle with a few short drops rather than a cascade. The falls are only a few inches each, so the sound stays close and gentle and works beside a bench or under a window. It will not cover traffic or a neighbor's air conditioner. How loud it seems will shift with the water level, the surfaces around it, and how much planting surrounds it, which is why a fixed decibel number would tell you nothing about your own yard.

Setup, Care, and Warranty
Simple outdoor setup
Set it on a level, solid surface, fill the reservoir, and plug it in. One person, a few minutes, no plumbing and nothing to bury. Check that it sits flat before switching it on, because a tilt sends water past a pot rim instead of into it.
Route the cord along a bed edge or a wall rather than across the path, and look at the spot after dark before you settle on it.
Daily care and winter storage
Keep enough water in the reservoir to cover the pump so it never runs dry, and check more often in heat and wind. Clear leaves out of the pots, since a leaf across a rim will divert the flow and you will hear the change before you see it.
Before freezing weather, drain it completely, disconnect and store the pump, and dry the pots. At 13 pounds it comes inside in one trip and stores in a corner of the garage.
How the painted finish holds up
The bears, the trunk, and the moss cast are painted resin, and years of full sun will lift some depth out of the color, most noticeably on the darkest surfaces. A spot with afternoon shade keeps it looking new longer. Clean it with a soft cloth and keep harsh liquid cleaners off the paint.

Questions Before You Choose
Where will it look most natural?
A gravel bed beside the porch, a bend in a garden path, the edge of a cabin style patio, or tucked among ferns, hostas, and ornamental grass. Natural stone and loose planting help the trunk settle into the bed instead of sitting on top of it. What it needs is a setting with some wildness in it.
Is it a large garden centerpiece?
No. At 23.6 inches it holds its own beside a bench or a porch step and fits a small deck corner, but out on an open lawn it will look lost. For a piece that carries a whole yard, choose a taller tiered fountain.
Is the light warm or cool?
Cool blue. It sits inside the pots and lights the moving water rather than the bears. If you are matching warm string lights or a warm porch bulb, expect the fountain to read cooler than everything around it. If you like the look of moonlit water, that is exactly what you get.
Is it safe around children and pets?
Keep it outside the main running route, since 13 pounds tips more easily than concrete. Route the cord where a foot will not catch it, and do not let children or pets climb on the bears. The recirculating water is not intended for drinking.
