MSI Abatec Underlayment is a proprietary foundation layer designed specifically for Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Flooring installation, helping prevent floor movement and reduce unwanted noise. This engineered underlayment works with both wood-look and stone-look luxury vinyl products, making it an essential component for professional-grade floor performance.
- Easy Three-Step Installation: Simply unfold the material, lay it flat, and cut it to match your flooring dimensions—no special tools or adhesives required for straightforward application
- Anti-Slip Technology: Prevents plank and tile sliding during and after installation, protecting your floor's locking system from stress and shifting
- Subfloor Smoothing: Bridges minor imperfections in existing subfloors, creating a stable base that supports the integrity of luxury vinyl locking mechanisms
- Shock-Absorbing Structure: Cushioned composition delivers better comfort underfoot compared to installing directly on subfloor
- Sound Reduction: Reduces walking noise and impact sound transmission to rooms below, creating a quieter living environment
Abatec Underlayment transforms the installation process by eliminating common problems homeowners face with luxury vinyl—floor movement, hollow footsteps, and noise transfer between levels. The proprietary design works in tandem with your vinyl flooring's locking system to ensure long-term stability, while its shock-absorbing properties add genuine comfort to daily walking and standing. By addressing both performance and acoustics, this underlayment delivers the professional finish that makes luxury vinyl flooring perform at its best.
