This rectangular wall-mount sink is carved from a single block of New York marble quarried in Turkey. The stone has a white base with gray veining, and each piece carries its own pattern and moderate color variation, so no two sinks are the same. It measures 16 inches wide, 24 inches long and 5 inches high, and it is polished inside and out. Hung on the wall with no cabinet below, it suits smaller bathrooms and powder rooms where floor space counts.

Clean lines, polished stone

The rectangular form keeps the outline simple, so the veining in the marble becomes the main detail. A polished finish on both the interior and exterior catches light and reflects it back into the room, which helps a small bathroom feel brighter and larger. The edges are smooth and curved, with no tight corners where soap scum and dirt can collect. The depth and movement of the veining are what set natural marble apart, and they change from one piece to the next.

At 16 by 24 inches, the sink fits small bathrooms and powder rooms while leaving the floor clear beneath it. With no vanity or pedestal underneath, the room feels more open and the floor is easier to clean. A wall-mounted faucet keeps the counter line clean, and the white and gray stone works with chrome, nickel or brass. The 1.5 inch drain hole takes conventional drain fittings, and a 1 inch space underneath allows for standard mounting brackets.

Prepare the wall first

Solid marble is heavy, so a wall-mounted sink needs firm backing. Blocking between the studs at the mounting height should be in place before the sink is hung, and it is easiest to add while the wall is open. The faucet is usually mounted on the wall above the basin, which means the supply lines and drain are roughed in to match the sink's position before the wall is closed. A professional installer is recommended, both for the weight of the stone and for a clean plumbing connection.

This sink is made to order on two schedules. The 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, and the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. Care

New York marble is a porous calcite stone with a polished surface. Acidic substances such as coffee, wine or citrus can etch the polish, and liquids left to sit can stain it. The sink is protected with a stone sealer, and how often it is resealed depends on how much the bathroom is used.
