Ossipee Lake is a 3,305-acre lake in Carroll County, New Hampshire, reaching a maximum depth of 49 feet with over 30 miles of shoreline. The lake supports excellent fishing for Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Yellow Perch, and White Perch. As one of New Hampshire's largest lakes, Ossipee Lake is a premier boating and fishing destination at the southern edge of the White Mountains.
Ossipee Lake is located in Carroll County at the foot of the Ossipee Mountains in east-central New Hampshire, near the communities of Freedom and Ossipee. The surrounding Lakes Region and White Mountains offer hiking in the White Mountain National Forest, the scenic Kancamagus Highway, and spectacular fall foliage. Conway and North Conway provide outlets shopping, skiing at Cranmore, and excellent dining nearby.
