Sam Rayburn Reservoir is a 114,500-acre impoundment of the Angelina River in Jasper County, Texas, reaching a maximum depth of 100 feet. The largest reservoir entirely within Texas, it is one of the premier Largemouth Bass fisheries in the South, regularly producing trophy bass and hosting major professional fishing tournaments. The lake also supports outstanding Crappie, Catfish, and Striped Bass fishing.
