Sand Point Lake is a 7,380-acre lake straddling St. Louis County, Minnesota and Ontario, Canada, reaching a maximum depth of 120 feet within Voyageurs National Park. The lake supports exceptional fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Muskie, and Yellow Perch across its island-rich waters. Part of the international border lakes connecting Namakan and Crane Lakes, Sand Point is one of the most spectacular wilderness lakes in the Voyageurs system.
Sand Point Lake is located within Voyageurs National Park on the Minnesota-Ontario border, accessible only by boat from the communities of Crane Lake and Namakan Bay. The HD Maps are limited to Extra Large, "XX Large, and Gigantic sizes only. On the smaller sizes the depth change of the wood is too extreme and you end up losing detail.
