Description
Splitface stacked stone panels showcase randomly set quartzite stones, creating a textured surface full of visual interest. The MSI Rockmount Arctic Golden combines cool whites and warm creams in an elegant ledger corner ideal for creating dimension in vertical design projects. Recommended for both interior and exterior applications in commercial and residential projects.
- Premium Quartzite Material: Quartzite stands as the hardest natural stone commonly used in residential and commercial applications, formed from sandstone subjected to intense heat and pressure. This product features premium-grade quartzite selected for durability and quality, with 6 pieces per box.
- Dimensions & Thickness: 6" × 18" corner pieces with an approximate thickness of 0.75"–1.25", designed to create finished edges on interior and exterior corners with proper installation.
- Splitface Finish: Split-face ledger panels are made of slimmer stone fragments, created using a hydraulic splitter which allows for more precision when cutting the fragments of stone. This technique delivers uniform texture with natural dimensional relief.
- Color & Variation: Arctic Golden features a sophisticated blend of cool whites and warm creams. As with all natural stone, variations in color, shade, and finish add to their unique charm. Blending tiles from multiple boxes during installation is recommended to enhance natural color variation.
Use this quartzite stacked stone panel to create sophisticated accent walls, backsplashes, fireplace surrounds, or to clad architectural features such as retaining walls. Quartzite is prized for its incredible hardness, ranking between 7-8 on the Mohs hardness scale, which translates to exceptional scratch resistance and allows quartzite surfaces to maintain their smooth, polished finish for years. Quartzite is highly resistant to heat and fire, can withstand temperatures up to and above 150°C without cracking, and makes it an ideal choice for surfaces around fireplaces, ovens, grills and other heat-generating appliances. Quartzite is frost-resistant and ideal for outdoor applications in cold climates.
