Mood: Bilbo paces the stage, his hand in his pocket, the Ring at his fingertips, as he begins his speech and enacts his plan.
Notes: Whispered rumors and dark secrets, drifting fire embers, and a twist of cedarwood and patchouli.

Scent-story: Hobbits gather for a long-expected party. Their host watches with a gleam in his eye. His hand strays to his pocket, toying with his greatest treasure. The gold is smooth to the touch. In his mind, he can see its perfect shape, the way it glows in the firelight. The temptation to put it on, to walk unseen among his guests, calls to him, but the moment is not right.
He must wait to enact his plan.
Food is served, and fireworks are launched. Hobbits dance and sing and eat and drink. Rousing cheers and warm wishes for their host echo into the night.
The evening grows long. The time has come. Bilbo takes the stage and begins his speech.
“My dear People, My dear Bagginses and Boffins, and my dear Tooks and Brandybucks…”
