Our Jeep Cherokee XJ roof rack features all aluminum construction to give you a strong, light, versatile and corrosion resistant rack that will haul all your gear and look good for years to come. Unlike other racks that mount to the XJ's rain gutters, we designed this rack to mount to the factory roof rails. This makes installation a breeze and distributes rack loads to the vehicle the way it was originally designed. Our Jeep XJ roof rack includes:
- 6x - 6061-T6 CNC machined mounting clamps (black anodized finish)
- 2x - 1/4" thick 6061-T6 aluminum side plates (black powder coat finish)
- 5x - 1"x2" x 49" long extruded aluminum crossbars
- 1x - .08" think aluminum wind fairing (black powder coat finish)
- Stainless steel and zinc plated hardware
Load capacities for our roof rack when load is evenly distributed:
- 200 lbs dynamic
- 600 lbs static
Note: This rack fits 1991 - 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ's with the full length factory roof rails. Does not work with 1999 - 2001 with shortened factory roof rails.
