What is engineered hardwood?
These natural products consist of 3 separate layers. The top layer is usually the layer where the most valuable wood is used and gives the parquet its model. The thickness of the top layer varies between 3 mm and 4 mm. The middle tier is produced from woods that are slightly less valuable than the top tier. The bottom layer is the thinnest and is pressed against the middle layer during production to make it stronger. It is pressed in three different layers in different directions to produce a floor covering that is more resistant to weather conditions and moisture. Each parquet board has special recesses and protrusions to match other boards, this production technique provides ease of assembly.
How to clean engineered hardwood floors?
Engineered hardwood flooring is a delicate product that requires careful maintenance. Since parquet floors are natural, it is essential to know the right application techniques, in this sense, we recommend you get professional support. Solid parquets, like all parquets, do not like water and may deform when exposed to water for a long time. Therefore, a slightly damp or dry cloth will be sufficient for cleaning. In particular, you should stay away from cleaners containing heavy chemicals. These hygiene rules must be followed to ensure long-term use.
