Cloud White is a glossy white ceramic tile, 4 by 7 1/2 inches, made for interior walls. The colour sits in the fired glaze rather than in the clay body, so it stays even from piece to piece and holds its tone in daylight. Tiles ship by the box, and one box holds 20 pieces.
Colour fired into the glaze
The Marbella design keeps the face plain and lets the glaze carry the character. Edges are rounded rather than square cut, so the joint line across a run of white ceramic tiles reads soft instead of sharp. Each piece is 3/8 inch thick. A glossy face throws light back into the room, which is worth something on a narrow wall, and it wipes down with a cloth.

Walls, and where the cuts fall
This is a wall tile for residential interiors, and the room it is rated for is the kitchen. As kitchen backsplash tiles they score and snap with a hand cutter, so a run broken up by outlets and corners does not need a wet saw. One piece covers 0.17 square feet and a box covers 3.4 square feet. For a 60 square foot wall, with 15 percent added for cuts and breakage, that comes to 21 boxes.
