Description
The #16 Echeveria Light Green is a compact, rosette-forming succulent with blue-green leaves that blush pink tips in full sun.
- Growth form: Rosette-shaped succulent with large fleshy oval leaves that taper to a sharp tip; juvenile specimens shipped in basic plastic nursery containers about 2" tall and across the top, with 1–4 small rooted plants per container common.
- Leaves & color: Leaves are blue-green and may maintain a glaucous appearance on new growth; tips and margins turn pink or red in full sun; leaf surfaces can be waxy, and some varieties may be glaucate or farinose.
- Flower color: Produces flowers in yellow to orange hues on inflorescences.
- Sun & care: Prefers full sun to partial shade; strong sun can enhance coloration, but too much direct afternoon sun can burn foliage; requires well-draining soil and must avoid overwatering to prevent damping off; most Echeveria do not tolerate cold, wet winters.
- Propagation: Easily propagated from leaf cuttings or offsets; can also be grown from stem cuttings or seed.
- Container & stock: Containers are basic plastic nursery stock, typically orange or black, approximately 2" tall and across the top; color and size may vary with time of year and growing conditions.
Elevate a space with sculptural, low-water greenery. The #16 Echeveria Light Green offers a striking blue-green rosette that hints at pink in sun, while its compact size and straightforward propagation provide practical versatility for both beginners and succulent collectors alike.
