Handmade 4" × 8" Tecate terracotta tile — a classic brick-format tile sourced directly from Baja California, Mexico. This versatile rectangular size is perfect for herringbone, running bond, basket weave, and stacked layouts, offering timeless design flexibility for both indoor floors and outdoor living spaces.
Tecate tiles are a denser, harder-bodied terracotta than traditional Saltillo, making them exceptionally durable for high-traffic areas, patios, pool surrounds, and walkways. The warm terracotta tones and slightly rougher surface texture give Tecate tile a distinctly rustic, Old World character that pairs naturally with Southwestern, Mediterranean, and hacienda-style architecture.
Every tile is handmade and unique. All handmade Mexican products are rustic in nature and subject to variation in shape, size, and color.
Available and sold per square foot. Please note due to the size and weight of these tiles, all orders will be shipped via freight.
