Main border in a Safavid inspired design from centuries old weavings with cloudbands contoured throughout. Colors and shades include: Dusty sky blue, faded aubergine plum, beige, chocolate brown, dusty mauve, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of minor repairs and restorations. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Tabriz carpet made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 8'2" x 11'2".
