Campo hand painted cuerda seca tile — a pastoral geometric pattern celebrating the simplicity and beauty of open fields and agricultural heritage. Rendered in earthy tones with balanced symmetry, Campo brings a grounded, naturalistic feel to any space. Part of our San Luis Obispo (SLO) collection, this tile features the distinctive raised ridges and three-dimensional texture created by the traditional cuerda seca glazing method.
Each tile is individually hand crafted using the cuerda seca technique, where molten wax separates glaze colors before firing. The result is a tactile surface with an interplay of matte and glossy finishes that defines authentic Malibu style tilework. Campo is ideal for creating a warm, welcoming kitchen backsplash, rustic bathroom accent walls, or paired with other SLO field tiles for larger installations.
Available in 2", 4.25", and 6" sizes. Every tile is handmade and unique. All handmade Mexican products are rustic in nature and subject to variation in shape, size, and color.
