Elite Precious Black, 12x24, a porcelain tile with a terrazzo face. Elite is a fine, low contrast terrazzo built for floors that take a beating.
The chip pattern hides scuffing better than a plain floor, which is why terrazzo wears so well in busy rooms. Grip is the reason to choose this surface: wet feet, a sloped shower floor, a threshold that catches rain.
The body is 9 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. One box covers 13.56 sq ft, 7 pieces.
Production is domestic, from the Mount Pleasant, Tennessee plant.
