Description
This is the Essence California Gold tile, 12x24 in a slate face. Essence keeps the cleft texture of slate and drops the flaking that comes with the real stone.
Slate is split rather than sawn, so its face has a shallow cleft texture, and that texture is pressed into this tile. Use it across kitchens, bathrooms and open living areas, on the floor or up the wall.
The body is 9 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. It is sold by the box, 13.56 sq ft per box and 7 pieces in it.
It is made in the United States, at Landmark's Mount Pleasant plant in Tennessee.
