Description
Frontier20 California Gold, 12x24, a porcelain paver with a slate face. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.
A cleft slate face gives grip underfoot, which is why slate ends up in entries and mudrooms in the first place. Outdoors it takes ground contact, freeze and thaw, and the weight of garden furniture without a mortar bed.
The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. It is sold by the box, 7.75 sq ft per box and 4 pieces in it.
Production is domestic, from the Mount Pleasant, Tennessee plant.
