Frontier20 Mariposa Slate, 24x24, a porcelain Double Mesh with a slate face. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.
A cleft slate face gives grip underfoot, which is why slate ends up in entries and mudrooms in the first place. Mesh backing holds the layout, which is what makes a mosaic practical on a shower floor or a backsplash.
The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 3.88 sq ft, 1 piece.
Production is domestic, from the Mount Pleasant, Tennessee plant.
