Description
Frontier20 Mariposa Slate is a 12x24 slate look porcelain End-cover. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.
Slate is split rather than sawn, so its face has a shallow cleft texture, and that texture is pressed into this tile. It covers the exposed cut end of a run, which is the edge that usually gives away where the tiling stopped.
The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 3.87 sq ft, 2 pieces.
It is produced to order rather than pulled from stock, which is worth planning for early in a job. Landmark presses and fires it at Mount Pleasant, Tennessee.
