This is the Frontier20 Michelangelo Extra White Grip Stair Tread, 12x48 in a marble face. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.
The veining is printed at a scale that lets a large tile carry a full run of movement rather than a repeating fragment. This is the walking surface of a step, made with a finished front edge rather than a cut one.
The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 3.2 sq ft, 1 piece.
It is produced to order rather than pulled from stock, which is worth planning for early in a job. It is made in the United States, at Landmark's Mount Pleasant plant in Tennessee.
