Description
Frontier20 Michelangelo Extra White, 12x24, a porcelain paver with a marble face. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.
The veining is printed at a scale that lets a large tile carry a full run of movement rather than a repeating fragment. Outdoors it takes ground contact, freeze and thaw, and the weight of garden furniture without a mortar bed.
The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 7.75 sq ft, 4 pieces.
Production is domestic, from the Mount Pleasant, Tennessee plant.
