Description
Frontier20 Montauk Black is a 24x24 slate look porcelain Linear Cover Drain Set. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.
Slate is split rather than sawn, so its face has a shallow cleft texture, and that texture is pressed into this tile. It caps a linear drain channel in the same material as the surrounding pavers, which is what stops the drain reading as a metal stripe.
The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 3.87 sq ft, 1 piece.
It is produced to order rather than pulled from stock, which is worth planning for early in a job. Landmark presses and fires it at Mount Pleasant, Tennessee.
