Rosario Azul hand painted cuerda seca tile — a striking blue-dominant design from our San Luis Obispo (SLO) collection, featuring flowing decorative motifs rendered in rich cobalt and turquoise tones. The cuerda seca technique creates raised ridges between each color, giving this tile a tactile, three-dimensional surface that captures light beautifully.
Each tile is individually hand crafted using the traditional cuerda seca method, where molten wax separates glaze colors before firing. The Rosario Azul's bold blue palette makes it a standout choice for Mediterranean and coastal-inspired interiors — ideal for kitchen backsplashes, bathroom accent walls, pool house features, and outdoor fountain installations where vivid color and handcrafted texture are desired.
Available in 2", 4.25", and 6" sizes. Every tile is handmade and unique. All handmade Mexican products are rustic in nature and subject to variation in shape, size, and color.
