Description
Salamanca hand painted cuerda seca tile — a architectural pattern inspired by the grand Spanish city of Salamanca, known for its Renaissance beauty and artistic heritage. Ornate detailing and balanced symmetry reflect the city's classical elegance and historic grandeur. Part of our San Luis Obispo (SLO) collection, this tile features the distinctive raised ridges and three-dimensional texture created by the traditional cuerda seca glazing method.
Each tile is individually hand crafted using the cuerda seca technique, where molten wax separates glaze colors before firing. The result is a tactile surface with an interplay of matte and glossy finishes that defines authentic Malibu style tilework. Salamanca commands respect as a fireplace focal point, a kitchen backsplash statement, or a dramatic bathroom accent that brings Old World sophistication and timeless European design sensibility to your home.
Available in 2", 4.25", and 6" sizes. Every tile is handmade and unique. All handmade Mexican products are rustic in nature and subject to variation in shape, size, and color.
Available and sold per individual tile. Ships via USPS or UPS depending on order size.
