Description
Penny Round 6 is a marble mosaic combining Snow White, Silver Shadow and Allure Light, finished with more than one surface treatment across the sheet. Sheets measure 10 1/16 by 11 13/16 and cover 0.66 square feet each.
Three stones, two finishes
Two things vary at once: which stone a given round is cut from, and how that round has been finished. The stones sit close in tone, recorded as slight variation, so the effect builds through reflection rather than through contrast. Rounds handle a curve or a slope better than square pieces do, which is a practical point as much as a visual one. Sheets are 3/8 inch thick. Because the finishes differ, the same sheet can look almost uniform under flat light and clearly varied when a beam crosses it.

Care
Seal after installation and every one to two years after. In a shower this matters more than elsewhere, since the surface stays wet. Clean with a pH neutral stone product and keep acids away entirely.
