Description
Sterling Mist and Silver Drop are both recorded against this polished marble tile at 12x12, which is why the grey moves as much as it does. Variation is moderate, each piece covers a square foot, and ten fill a box.
Movement and a bevel
Drawing on two colour groups gives the surface genuine tonal range, closer to how stone actually comes out of a quarry than a single graded product would be. Polishing deepens that range and brings up the veining. A bevelled edge adds a fine shadow line at each joint, which stops a field of gray marble tiles from reading as one flat plane. Bodies are 3/8 inch and the style is recorded as classic. Bevelled edges also forgive a little more than square cut ones, since the shadow line disguises any small difference in level between neighbouring pieces.

Shower walls
Shower walls is the recorded rating, with kitchen, bathroom and living room listed as rooms. Seven boxes cover 60 square feet with cutting allowed. Moderate variation means several boxes should be opened and mixed during setting, otherwise a darker batch can end up concentrated in one area.

Care
Seal after installation and again every one to two years. Polished stone shows etching sooner than honed, so acidic spills want wiping straight away and cleaning stays with a pH neutral stone product.
