Description
Thala Gray is recorded as a green limestone, and this waterjet deco is the honed arabesque version of it at 8x11, cut so the interlocking curves come out clean. Six pieces to a box, 1.83 square feet, each piece covering 0.31.
Curves in a soft stone
Limestone is softer than marble and carries less contrast, which suits a shape that wants attention on its outline. Waterjet cutting is what makes the interlocking curve possible at all, since a blade cannot follow it. Honing leaves the surface matte, and at 3/8 inch the pieces are thin enough to handle easily. Limestone tiles in this colour group carry the same quiet character.

Care
Being porous, this stone takes a penetrating sealer after installation and again every one to two years. Acids etch it quickly, which rules out vinegar and citrus based cleaners; a pH neutral stone product is the right choice.
