Description
This is the Trek Anthracite Cove, 6x12 in a slate face. Trek is the more rustic slate, including a multicolour blend that carries the rust and green of a natural bed.
Slate is split rather than sawn, so its face has a shallow cleft texture, and that texture is pressed into this tile. This is the curved skirting piece for the floor to wall joint, the detail that keeps a mop from tearing a caulk line open.
The body is 9 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 9.69 sq ft, 20 pieces.
It is made in the United States, at Landmark's Mount Pleasant plant in Tennessee.
