Description
This is the Trek Anthracite Mosaic A, 12x12 in a slate face. Trek is the more rustic slate, including a multicolour blend that carries the rust and green of a natural bed.
A cleft slate face gives grip underfoot, which is why slate ends up in entries and mudrooms in the first place. The pieces come mesh mounted in the A pattern, so the spacing stays even and a sheet can be cut to follow a fall to the drain.
The body is 9 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. It is sold by the box, 9.69 sq ft per box and 10 pieces in it.
It is made in the United States, at Landmark's Mount Pleasant plant in Tennessee.
