Description
This is the Trek Silver Bullnose, 3x24 in a slate face. Trek is the more rustic slate, including a multicolour blend that carries the rust and green of a natural bed.
A cleft slate face gives grip underfoot, which is why slate ends up in entries and mudrooms in the first place. Bullnose gives an exposed edge a finished, rounded profile, so a run of tile can stop without showing a raw cut.
The body is 9 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. It is sold by the box, 4.65 sq ft per box and 10 pieces in it.
It is made in the United States, at Landmark's Mount Pleasant plant in Tennessee.
